"I Believe in YOU"

About Me – A Journey of Commitment, Connection, and Growth

I come from a large family—one of 12 kids (#11 to be exact). Growing up in Western Massachusetts, I saw firsthand what it meant to work through struggle, prioritize relationships, and stay committed even when life was chaotic. My parents’ ability to support each other through challenges left a lasting impact on me, shaping my belief in the power of trust, resilience, and shared purpose in relationships

.

I met my wife while teaching ESL abroad in Italy. There we discovered together the joys and struggles of cross cultural relationship, learning and recovering from hurts, and beginning our own great adventure. Now we have 3 children and are learning more every day about each other and deepening our friendship.

Teaching English was how I really started to learn how to create a safe, uplifting, and encouraging relationship for my clients. Fundamentally, I love people, and I Believe in YOU.

My Path to Helping Couples Heal

My journey into psychology was unexpected but deeply meaningful. After initially pursuing business school, I took a detour—spending three years in Italy teaching English, leading community events, and discovering my passion for helping people face fears, grow, and connect. I realized that relationships, community, and emotional resilience were the heart of fulfillment.

From there, I committed myself to understanding human relationships:

✔ Bachelor’s in Psychology – Worked as a Therapeutic Mentor for children and families.
✔ Master’s in Clinical Social Work – Served at the Department of Children and Families, supporting families in crisis.
✔ Experience Across Multiple Settings – Community mental health, private practice, emergency rooms, intensive intervention programs, and even correctional settings—learning how people heal across all walks of life.
✔ Founder of This Practice – Dedicated to helping couples navigate betrayal, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships.

What You Can Expect in Therapy

I understand that seeking therapy—especially after sexual betrayal—is vulnerable. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and non-judgmental space where you and your partner can work through pain and uncertainty with support. I blend Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help couples restore trust, improve communication, and create a new foundation for connection.

Relationships are hard work—but healing is possible. If you're ready to rebuild, let’s get to work.
